In 2008 MacRepair & Project started proceeding to sue MacJunky for trademark infringement. Needless to say a fight started and MacJunky won on every count that they put forward to the court.
The main body of the complaint was that they accused MacJunky of using their trade name/mark (Mac Repair) without authorisation. Our case was that the words ‘Mac’ & ‘Repair’ although trademarks of that company, are too specific to repairing Macs and the complaint should not be upheld.
Also while the court case was being prepared they accused MacJunky of all sorts of ‘other’ infringements that were way too outrageous to mention.
